Cabin Fever
The Cabin Fever exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery, in collaboration with Goodweather Studio, focused on the historical and cultural importance of cabin structures in North America. The exhibit highlighted the lasting architectural influence of cabins and explored the future of this building typology.
Caliper Studio contributed to the project by fabricating two scaled structures, a geodesic dome and a living structure. Using a curated selection of materials, these structures showcased the evolution and narrative of the cabin, emphasizing its relevance in both past and present contexts. The exhibition provided visitors with an informative and engaging experience, encouraging them to engage with the structures, look at photographs and read about the exhibition.
